R5 Productions is a Bucks County, Pennsylvania-based theater collective dedicated to telling stories through the distinct and intimate art form of the radio play. Founded in response to the early days of COVID as a way to keep theater alive, R5 has built a dedicated audience around a virtual production model that connects performers and audiences wherever they are. I came on board early, building their website from scratch and helping to hone their visual identity across every platform.
Working within an inherited logo and brand framework, I stabilized and elevated the visual language across every channel and touchpoint, bringing consistency, clarity, and a professional polish to R5’s digital presence. I designed print collateral, including postcards and business cards, along with branded merchandise to help create a cohesive, confident presence that reaches well beyond the stage. I design campaign assets for each production and convert them into a full suite of platform-specific materials, manage the website, write show copy, and execute targeted eblasts leading up to each premiere.
The R5 Playhouse Series, the company’s annual festival of original one-act plays, requires four distinct campaign identities, each for a different production but unified within a cohesive visual system. I develop a suite of key art that allows each piece to stand independently while clearly belonging to the same family, then extend that system across every festival asset. It’s the kind of work that doesn’t call attention to itself but holds everything together, which is exactly the point.
